hey there! I’m so glad you’re here! and IF you’re here, that must mean you’re looking for some more information on my rep team, the cam fam!!
in 2018 I implemented a rep team comprised of seniors who would represent me & my business during their final year of high school, and in return for representing me they would receive their senior sessions for free! back then that was over a $250 value, and since then the value has risen! my first rep team was 3 seniors, 1 guy 2 girls, and they were all from fulton. my second rep team consisted of 6 seniors, 1 guy 5 girls, and they were from fulton, clinton, & west carroll. 2020's team had 18 girls, and this year, 2021's team has 19 seniors! every year my team has grown to schools I wouldn't normally have been able to reach, and my list is ever changing! one thing you will notice about the application for the '22 rep team is that it mentions I will only be taking on TEN members for the '22 cam fam. this year I want to keep it small & intimate, and I have a few ideas for some fun things for me & my team!
I posted on my instagram story not too long ago asking if anyone had any questions about applying, what it entails, etc.! here are my responses!
like I mentioned above, the role of a member of my rep team is to represent me & my business, while following some guidelines that will be outlined both in the application & the contract. as a cam fam member, your senior session is free ($450 value) and in return you will be asked to bring in 5 other 2022 seniors to book their senior session with me. for each senior you bring in you'll be offering them a 10% off discount off of their senior session. as long as you fulfill the requirement of at least 5 seniors brought in, your session is free! you'll also be asked to post on your social media a few times a month advertising your discount to bring people in; pretty easy stuff!
to join, there will be a tab on my website opened on friday, november 27th with the application, as well as some information you'll need to read before applying! the application will be live for 7 days, and after that the doors are closed! I'll contact everyone by christmas time, and the 2022 cam fam will be announced at the beginning of january! I'll be posting frequently reminding everyone that the open date is approaching, and also posting during that week to keep everyone updated!
what's something I look for in a member? GOOD QUESTION! I look for people who are kind, always looking to help those in need, someone who is involved in activities, & quite honestly someone who is active on social media! social media is HUUUUUUGE when it comes to word of mouth, and advertising on your instagram can help bring in SO much business!! communication is KEEEEEEEY! responding quickly to messages & keeping in touch makes me happy!!
if you're chosen you'll be asked to sign a contract stating you'll abide by the rules I have in place, along with your parent's signature. it's listed in the application & contract, but if you were to breach the contract in any way (getting caught participating in illegal activities, working with another photographer, etc.) you will be removed from the cam fam. if you have any questions about this, please reach out!
you'll also be contacted first for fun, creative ideas I have!
there’s no limit on how far away you can be to join the team!!
my thought for the 2022 cam fam is to get together frequently for coffee dates, styled shoots, etc.! with COVID messing things up, the last couple of rep teams haven't gotten the "full experience" and I hope the class of 2022 gets to experience that!
